Doodle Mapuls is a collective of three architects; Yash Shetty, Amal Nair, and Kirthi Pillai. They call themselves ‘Mapuls’, synonymous with ‘Bantai’ in the South Indian Lingo, which means ‘Friend’. It was during the pandemic that the collective decided to start materialising the art that they always had envisioned. The three architects created this small window which let them exercise their aesthetic sensibilities in another creative way. So, in other words, ‘Doodle Mapuls’ is a colorful escape from the hustle and bustle of this monotonous life. Our collaboration with them is a foray into this world of colour and playfulness, in line with our philosophies as well.
